摘　　要：首次记述采自中国云南省藤Calamus platyacanthoides上的尼泊尔扁片蜡蚧Platylecanium nepalense Takagi,1975。主要鉴别特征为:体缘光滑,气门刺4或5根,肛板合成菱形和无足。文中对雌成虫形态特征进行了详细描述及绘图。A newly recorded species Platylecanium nepalense Takagi, 1975 collected on Calamus platyacanthoides from Yunnan, China is described and illustrated in detail. The genus Platylecanium Cockerell ＆ Robinson, 1915 is also first reported in China. P. nepalense canbe distinguished by the following features： body margin smooth, stigmatic spines 4 or 5 in each stigmatic cleft, anal plates together rhombus and legs absent.
