期刊涨价中的无奈与思考

摘　　要：期刊以其出版周期短、信息容量大、内容新颖等特点,在教育和科学技术发展过程中发挥了及其重要的作用,成为图书馆文献资源建设中的重要组成部分。但多年来纸质期刊的价格不停地上涨也一直困扰着图书馆。尤其是一方面图书馆要以大量资金来购买期刊,另一方面许多期刊的利用率却是极低甚至为零。以怀化学院图书馆为例,对当前期刊的收藏与利用之间的矛盾作一简要分析,以期今后图书馆在期刊资源配置上能有新的设想与突破。Journal plays an important role in the development of education and science technology since its short period of publishing, large capacity of information and new style of contents, and it has become a crucial part of literature resource in library. Nevertheless, library has suffered from the continuous markup of papery journal in those years. The library has to spend a lot of money in buying, but many journals are never borrowed and read. Based on a case study of the Library of Huaihua University, the author makes an analysis of the contradiction between storing and using, and promotes some countermeasures to the distribution of journal resources.
