摘　　要：文章详细分析了《现代汉语词典》(第6版)对正文后所附的"西文字母开头的词语"所做的修订情况:(1)收录条目有增有减;(2)注释有所变化;(3)新增词所属学科领域与学界调查结论基本一致。同时,就新版词典收录的字母词从名称的界定,字母词的来源,字母词的音译、释义,纯字母词的收录及外文原词收录问题等方面提出了商榷意见。Acronyms and words beginning with Greek or Latin letters in the sixth edition of the Contemporary Chinese Dictionary has been revised. There are several changes about the revision of ＂appendix＂, such as the number, the explanation and the classification. There are several issues remaining in the new version of the dictionary ： how to define the name ; no illustration about the source of the words ; only transliteration, no defi- nitions ; the rising number of pure letter words and the inclusion of the foreign word.
