摘　　要：本文基于附加科技创新的"新钻石模型",采用主成分分析和聚类分析的方法 ,从技术创新、生产要素、需求条件、市场结构与企业战略、相关支撑产业、制度等6个方面系统评估了广东科技服务业在全国的地位,并从竞争实力、竞争潜力和竞争环境三个角度对广东与国内其他科技服务业发达地区进行对比分析,进而为科学提升广东科技服务业的竞争力水平提供有针对性的政策建议。Based on the ＂new diamond model＂ with additional innovation in science and technology （S＆T）, this paper makes use of principal component analysis and cluster analysis to assess systematically the status of S＆T service industries of Guangdong in the country in six respects, namely S＆T innovation, productive factors, demand conditions, market structure and corporate strategy, and supporting industry involved. In addition, it also compares Guangdong with other domestic S＆T service industries in developed areas in terms of competitive strength, potential and environment, and proposes targeted policies for improving the competitiveness of S＆T service industries of Guangdong.
