摘　　要：以安徽8所普通本科院校作为调查样本,探究英语专业大学毕业生就业基本状况。研究表明:英语专业毕业生就业单位分布存在显著性差异;男女毕业生就业单位分布有一定差异,但不具有显著性;院校类型对英语专业毕业生就业单位的影响具有显著性;院校层次对英语专业毕业生就业单位分布的影响具有显著性。Based on samples collected from 8 Anhui-based universities, this study explores the basic situation of employment of English major graduates. The findings reveal that there is great disparity in employment unit distribution of English major graduates, as well as some difference between male students and female students in job distribution, but not so dramatically. Types of universities and colleges have an obvious influence on the employment units chosen by English major graduates, and the employment units by the graduates is also affected by the institution level.
