摘　　要：20世纪60年代美国民权运动最为重要的文学代言人、非洲裔美国小说家詹姆斯·鲍德温的半自传体小说《向苍天呼吁》,充斥着诸多狂欢节的形式、象征和感受世界的方式。小说作者以深厚的宗教情怀和鲜明的狂欢化质素,借助种种不同的感性艺术场面,有声有色地凸显出巴赫金狂欢化理论的要旨,不仅论证了美国黑人对自由与平等的信仰和追求、对权威和主流话语的颠覆与反抗,还张扬着作家宗教体验中生命本质的狂欢精神和对人性的追问中所显现的人类生命诉求过程中的原初样态。As an important spokesman of the Civil Rights Movement, James Baldwin＇ s half autobiographical novel Go Tell It on the Mountain is full of carnival forms, symbols and feelings of the way of the world. With the help of the perceptual artistic scenes of all kinds and his religious experiences, Baldwin protrudes dramatically the main ideas of Bakhtin＇ s theory of ＂carnival＂, demonstrates the African Americans＇ strong demand for equal belief and their revolt against the authority and main strain discourse, reveals the original state shown in the process of examination of human nature.
