摘　　要：提出并论述了适合于中国南方双季稻区推广应用的旺壮重栽培法的理论与技术 ,指出中秆大穗品种比矮秆多穗品种更具有高产潜力 。The cultivation method of vigorous root strong culm weighty panicle(VSW) which is suitable for the double cropping rice areas in the southern areas of China is proposed.It is pointed out that the medium plant height and large panicles varieties have higher yield potential compared with those of shorter plant height and more panicles.It has more potential to fill to raise the individual quality of large panicle varieties than to increase the population quantum.
