文学虚构中的历史本质:论《家》的历史书写

摘　　要：莫里森新作《家》以20世纪20至50年代的历史事件和历史语境作为前文本,再现了被人们看作"黄金时代"的20世纪50年代美国麦卡锡主义、红色恐怖、朝鲜战争对黑人生存困境的影响以及历史上的三K党种族主义暴行。该作品通过虚构反映历史真相,实现了对美国历史的文本化干预,体现了作家历史意识中的现实关怀。本文从文本阐释历史的作用入手,着重分析小说如何将文本语境化、历史具象化,从而实现用小写、复数的"历史"取代"宏大叙事"的单数"历史"。Toni Morrison’s latest novel Home locates the plight of African Americans in the contexts of McCarthyism,the threat of Communism,racial violence committed by the Ku Klux Klan and the Korean War.This paper analyzes the techniques that Morrison uses to contextualize her novel,to re-present the past and to replace the master narrative of American history with alternative histories.It argues that representations of the past in Home actively participate in revising and constructing history.
