摘　　要：《伊丽莎白·科斯特洛:八堂课》中多篇讲座都涉及动物福利以及人类和动物关系的主题。本文借助后人文主义具身认知的观点来解读该作品,认为主人公科斯特洛始终在暴露权利语篇及其背后的理性主义弊端,同时倡导具身化的存在方式。作品实则提出将具身认知作为理性主义的替代,实现人类和非人类的共存。A few lectures in Elizabeth Costello;Eight Lessons are concerned with animal welfare and the relationship between human beings and animals.Drawing upon theories of embodied cognition,this essay investigates both the title character Costello’s posthumanist understanding of the mind-body relationship and her critique of the rationalist -oriented human rights discourse.For Costello,it is the embodied beings that contribute to a co-existence between humans and nonhumans.
