摘　　要：王守仁教授等撰写的《英国文学批评史》采用英国文学历史时期与批评流派相结合的主体框架,以各时期、各流派具有代表性批评家的主要观点、经典著作为主要内容,将批评家的批评思想置于历史语境之中,注重对重要批评观念的内涵和演变进行深度剖析,系统而全面地展示了英国文学批评的历史变迁,建构起一部文风严谨、资料详实的文学批评史。A History of British Literary Criticism by Professor Wang Shouren and others is an academically sound and informative history of literary criticism.It develops a critical reading of the major texts,movements and trends of British literary criticism,positioning the critics and their views in specific historical and cultural contexts.I argue that the book unveils a comprehensive and systemic framework of British literary criticism.
