摘　　要：托尼.莫里森在其短篇小说《宣叙》中尝试去除故事中两个人物的种族解码,并且讲述了扑朔迷离的踢倒麦吉事件和两个主人公对此的记忆偏差。拉康关于自我侵略性、自恋与妄想狂特性的理论,恰恰能为该短篇小说中上述三个谜团提供合理的精神分析学阐释,整个故事也可以看成是一个关于自我认识的隐喻。In her only published short story ＂Recitatif,＂ Toni Morrison purposely deprives her characters of their racial identity and creates ambiguity in presenting a perplexing incident and the divergence in two characters＇ recollections of this incident. A Laeanian reading of the story will offer some psychological bases for all these perplexities, especially with Lacan＇ s theory of self, which is characterized by narcissism, aggressiveness and paranoia. Furthermore, the whole short story can be read as a metaphor for self - con- cept.
