摘　　要：运用文献资料法和访谈法进行研究,确认钟师统是中国体育教育事业的开拓者,他的体育办学思想包括:确立"又红又专"的体育人才培养目标;提炼出"提高教学质量、运动技术水平和科学研究水平"等几个基地的办学思想;制定了"一专多能"的体育人才规格;在专业理念上把体育当作一门科学来办,把教育规律当作体育教学工作的准则。研究和学习钟师统的体育办学思想,会使后人更加明确体育院校的发展道路,抓住教学之本,体悟办学之道,恪守工作准则,树立为师之德。By methods of literature review and interview, the paper confirms that Zhong Shitong was a pioneer of China＇s physical education. His thoughts on physical education includes： The goal of training both politically sound and professional sports talents, the idea of establishing a few bases to improve the teaching quality, sport techniques, scientific research level and etc, the requirement of ＂specializing in one event but good at many e- vents＂ ; and the principle of ＂considering physical education as a science and complying with the rules of educa- tion＂. An in-depth study of Zhong Shitong＇s thoughts on physical education helps us identify the fundamentals of physical education and the direction of development, better understand the rules of physical education and better observe the work ethics and the ethic of bein~ a teacher.
