Objective: To investigate the 16 slice spiral CT angiography (CTA) on cerebral vascular lesions clinical application value. Methods: 40 cases of cerebral vascular lesions underwent 16 slice spiral CT angiography (CTA) examination of the imaging data were retrospectively analyzed, using a maximum intensity projection (MIP), volume rendering (VR) and muhiplanar reconstruction (MPR) techniques for 3D reconstruction after treatment. Results: Among 40 cases, 16 cases with aneurysm, arteriovenous malformation in 9 cases, 4 cases of arterial stenosis ( right anterior cerebral artery stenosis in 3 cases, bilateral posterior cerebral artery : report of 1 cases ), congenital dysplasia ( embryo of posterior cerebral artery ) in 11 cases, 40 cases 16 CTA VR, MIP and MPR image reconstruction on the cerebral vascular trunk and its main branches show 100%, and clearly show the location of the aneurysm, shape, size, and peripheral vascular and skull of the relationship, and clearly shows the AVM malformations, feeding arteries and draining veins. Conclusion: 16 slice spiral CT angiography imaging technology (CTA) is a safe, rapid, noninvasive, high accuracy, can be used as cerebrovascular lesions preferred and effective examination method.
