摘  要:文章设计并制作了一种新颖的低成本、小体积、可手持的基于压控可变透镜的VOA(可调光衰减器)。该器件以具有圆柱状通孔的精密套管为透镜腔,套管的两端分别连接输入光纤连接器管脚和带外螺纹的输出光纤连接器管脚,形成"输入光纤+可变透镜+输出光纤"的结构。通过螺旋套管的手动螺旋进动使液体透镜发生挤压形变以实现透镜焦距的调节,从而控制从输入光纤耦合到输出光纤的光强耦合效率以实现光的衰减可控调节。实验结果表明,这种光衰减器的衰减范围达到3~60dB。可用于实验教学等场合。A novel low-cost, small-size, handheld pressure-controlled variable lens-based Variable Optical Attenuator (VOA) is designed and fabricated in this paper. With a cylindrical precision tube as the lens chamber sandwiched between an input fiber connector pin and an output-fiber connector pin with external thread, this device has a structure of input-fiber 4- variable lens + output-fiber. The manual procession of the spiral tube enables the occurrence of compression deformation of the liquid lens so as to achieve the adjustment of the lens focal length, thus controlling the efficiency of the light intensity coupled from the in- put-fiber to the output fiber and achieving the controllable adjustment of the light attenuation. The experimental results indicate that this VOA attenuates in the range of 3-60 dB and can he used for such occasions as experimental teaching.
