Preliminary Study on the Summer-sowing and Cultivation Methods for Sorghum in Yingkou

摘  要:以6个早熟高粱杂交种为材料,探讨不同播期不同品种生育期、产量及其他农艺性状的表现。结果表明,推迟播种期至6月26日,6个供试材料在本地当年的土壤、气候条件下均正常成熟。同一品种生育期对比春播(5月17日)明显缩短,病、虫危害程度明显减轻,活秆成熟,籽粒整齐、饱满,千粒重高。不同品种生育期和产量不同,在6个供试品种中,四杂25号生育期93 d,产量493 kg/667m2,综合农艺性状好,是本地区较为适宜的夏播品种。Six early-ripe hybrid sorghum varieties were selected to observe the changes in maturity period, yields and other agronomical characteristics in different varieties in different sowing dates. The result showed that, although the sowing date was put off till June 6, all the six experimental varieties ripened normally in the same soil and weather conditions as usual. The maturity period of the same variety shortened greatly with decreasing plant diseases and insect pests, ripe crops, even and full grain and rising thousand kernel weight. The maturity period and yields differed from variety to variety, among which NO.25 of Hybrid Four, with the superior comprehensive agronomical characteristics, was regarded as the most ideal summer-sowing variety with a 93-day maturity period and 493 kg/667m2 yield.
