摘　　要：教学服务型大学以培养人才为核心,以满足地方区域经济、政治、文化和社会发展为理念,将教学与社会服务柔性结合,成为地方高校寻求自我发展的突破口。高校数居全国第一的江苏,在"创业创新创优、争先领先率先"精神的引领下,各高校充分发挥本我的创新潜力,大力发展与区域经济发展水平和要求相结合的特色学科,在探索中不断实践特色办学,为地方的经济社会的发展架构起有力的人才和智力支撑。Teaching service-oriented universities concentrate on the cultivation of talents, meeting the demands of re- gional economy, politics, culture and social development. Meanwhile, they combine teaching with social service flexibly, which is a turning point for the self-development of local universities. Universities in Jiangsu Province, which is renowned for its total number of universities, have played full roles and their potentials under the guidance of entrepreneurial inno- vation and pioneering, and have developed distinctive subjects to meet the demands of regional economic development, so as to provide intellectual supports for the development of regional economy.
