摘 要:美国图书馆界通过奖励成绩突出的图书馆、图书馆员或读者推动其图书馆事业的发展。其中,高校图书馆设立的读者奖呈现出4个特点:获奖种类多、以纪念为目的设立奖项、资助为奖金的主要来源及基于特定资源开展研究。读者奖的申报及评选、获奖成果管理等方面均显示出合理性。鉴于此,我国图书馆界可以通过深化对读者奖的认识、争取读者奖励的资金资助、倡导读者基于特色资源开展研究、将信息素养教育融入读者科研过程、高校图书馆间合作设立奖项5个方面完善其读者奖励机制。The American library field promote the development of its librarianship by rewarding libraries, librarians and readers who have made outstanding achievements. Among them, the reader award established by university libraries shows four major features: various kinds of awards, setting up awards for the commemoration, funds mainly steming from bonuses and carrying out researches based on specific resources. The application and the selection, the management of achievements of the reader award are reasonable. In this situation, Chinese university libraries could improve their own reader incentive mechanism by following means: deepening the understanding of the reader award, getting the reader award funding, advocating readers to research that based on special resources, integrating the literacy education into the reader researching process, and establishing awards in cooperation among university libraries.
