摘  要:本文通过考察以老年网民为主体的老小孩网站,揭示了虚拟社区可经由影响网民的认同来为其提供集体归属感,协助其实现对社会的重新嵌入。基于田野观察以及深度访谈,本文发现:虚拟社区的开放性使得老年网民能够挣脱外部世界对老年人的刻板印象,重新塑造积极正面的个体层次认同;化名基础上的自我表达和互动使得老年网民能够在社区里建构稳定的自我形象,并在相互交流中产生互信;在线和线下庆典仪式的举办提升了网民间关系纽带的强度,并最终促进老年网民建构了与社区相联系的集体记忆和集体认同。This paper analyzes how a virtual community named OldKids provides a sense of belonging to its members and assists them reembed into current society through influencing different layers of their identities.OldKids is a senior-oriented website,in which the elderly could reshape their personal identities.Based on online and offline participant observation and semi-structure in-depth interviews on 39 OldKids members,it is found that compared with real community,virtual community has provided older adults more opportunities to correct negative stereotypes toward them.Through rebuilding their self-images online,OldKids members regain confidence.And those senior netizens are prone to express themselves in the way of using alias,which guarantees the stability of their enacted and relational identities and promotes the emergence of mutual trust between them and their net friends.Through organizing and participating in ritual-like activities both online and offline,the social ties between senior netizens become closer.During the process of creating and sharing collective memories about OldKids virtual community and its related offline communities,communal identity toward the whole community held by the elderly netizens emerges.
