The goal of study is to explore the intermediate effect of improving productivity between invest- ment and performance. The methods include adopting "personal productivity scale" and "investment and per- formance scale" , randomly sampling 522 undergraduates, and applying SPSS and AMOS fitting forecast model. The results show:according to independent effect analysis, investment has the remarkable positive effect 0.63 (P 〈 0.01 )on performance, while improving personal productivities has the notable positive effect 0.50, and O. 31 ( p 〈 0.01 ) on the investment and performance respectively. Then according to intermediate effect analy- sis, improving personal productivity has distinct incentive effect 0.97 (0.47 more than independent effect 0. 50) on the investment, and also has the distinct increasing effect 0.83 on the performance (0.17 higher than independent effect 0.63). Therefore,it is concluded that improving personal productivity possesses the double intermediate effect on the incentive of investment (motivation) and the promotion of performance, and it is also one creative approach to exploring investment and performance management.
