With an oilfield development, especially after chemical flooding, it is necessary for the oilfietd to adjust the potential-tapping targets and development patterns. The well-logging presenting forms of the waterflooded reservoirs are rather complicated and the interpretation is more and more difficult. Through statistically analyzing the core data, four interpretation difficulties are summarized at high-water-cut late period: thin-and-poor oil layer development and chemical flooding produce the pore-pressure increase of partial oil reservoirs and radioactive anomaly, the well-logging responses are abnormal and more seriously with no theoretical eorrecting method; due to the limitation of vertical resolution, most logging methods cannot meet the requirements of fine and detailed interpretation; the flooding pattern change leads to the unsteady alteration of the salinity for the conducting fluids in waterflooded layers, the formation-resistivity problem is not effectively solved all the time; both the chemical flooding mechanism and logging responses are not made clear. By the previous feasibility exploration cases, the processing considerations and further research direction are put forward to provide references for those logging interpretation and method research fellows.
