摘　　要：当今社会建设的影响力是过去所不可比拟的，中国共产党第十八次全国代表大会的召开更是将社会建设与社会管理推到一个更为重要的关口。正是在应对现今众多的实际挑战中，曾经作为历史概念的社会建设，如今成为与十三亿人命运息息相关的现实概念。结合十八大报告，解读社会建设与社会管理的时代内容，在把握当前社会现实背景下，探索如何进一步深化，推进社会建设与社会管理在理论与实践中的发展进程。这即是备受关注的热点，也是政府与社会治理在现阶段亟须探讨的重点。本刊就当前中国的社会建设与社会管理有关问题专访中国社会学学会名誉会长、中国人民大学一级教授郑杭生先生。The Eighteenth National Congress of CPC(Communist Party of China) have elevated social construction and social management to a higher strategic position in construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics,which is the result of new meaning and new requirements given by our new era.Meanwhile,new problems,risks and challenges facing by social management and community governance reform nowadays,press for our creative concepts,ideas and measure in social construction and social management.Therefore,with deep understanding about current social reality,seeking for theory deepen and practice innovation about how to improve our social construction and social management is a urgent and important task.
