论莫言小说《蛙》中“蛙”与“猫头鹰”意象的民俗意味

摘　　要：长篇小说《蛙》是莫言酝酿了十多年的作品,小说的成功源于它异于常规的形式、引人深思的内容,更源于作者独运匠心所选取的民俗意象。其中,"蛙"与"猫头鹰"意象引人深思,"蛙"是母神的动物化身意象,"猫头鹰"是母神的变容。它们充满着浓厚的民俗意味,蕴含着深刻的民俗内涵,体现了一直存在民众心目中的母神信仰,而母神信仰源于古老的生殖崇拜。In addition to the special form, profound content, the full-length novel Frog by Mo Yan is successful also be- cause of the unique symbolic meanings embodied. Among all, the images of frog and Owl inspire deep thoughts. Frog is the em- bodiment of the Great Mother, and Owl the transfiguration. Both images are of rich symbolic meanings, they showcase the long lived belief people have in the Great Mother, which originated from ancient reproduction worship.
