摘　　要：随着PON技术的发展,在社区型网络的建设中,电信运营商或弱电系统集成商会考虑采用PON技术。PON作为一种新兴的技术,有哪些优点,是否适合社区型网络呢?本文主要从PON技术的定义、特点和优势、典型部署模式以及不适合社区型建筑之处进行简单的分析。With the development of PON technology, the construction of community networks, telecom operators or weak systems integration will consider to use PON technology. Because PON is a new technology, we wonder what are the advantages of PON, whether it is suitable for community networks？ This article mainly analyzes from the definition, characteristics and advantages of PON technology, the typical deployment mode and not suitable for community building.
