摘　　要：水稻产量的突破与株型改良密切相关。概述了水稻高产育种的历史与现状,分析了水稻高产株型特点,提出了水稻形态改良的主要途径,展望了水稻株型育种的前景。Every breakthrough of yield in rice has a close relationship with improvement of plant type. This paper reviewed the history, successful experience and current situation of breeding to increase yield potential of rice, ana- lyzed the characteristics of the plant types with high yield in rice, and put forward main approaches to improving rice morphology. An outlook for the research of high-yield breeding with improvement of plant type in rice was also given in this paper .
