摘　　要：采用文献查询、观察与访问等方法,对芜湖市居民大众广场舞的活动开展、社会价值、推广与管理等进行研究。发现广场舞不仅正在受到社会各界的普遍关注和重视,成为城市文化生活不可或缺的内容,而且作为文明创建和构建和谐社会一种新载体,对落实科学发展观和促进社会安定团结具有重要的作用。By adopting the methods as literature review,observation and interview,the paper studies the development and promotion of square dance in Wuhu,as well as its social values and management.More and more concerns have been given to square dance from every aspect of the society.Gradually it has become indispensible in city life and culture,and the carrier of civilization creation which is essential to social harmony and stability.
