摘 要:闪烁体和闪烁探测器在工业、医学及某些核物理实验、地质探矿、安全检查和材料探伤等领域应用广泛。掺铈硅酸镥(Ce∶LSO)是一种高密度、高原子序数的闪烁晶体,因其对X线具有响应时间快,发光产额高,且具有一定的能量分辨率,不易潮解,对中子灵敏度低等独特优点,被认为是迄今为止综合性能最好的闪烁体。随着闪光X线摄影技术的发展,对小像素大面积Ce∶LSO闪烁晶体阵列加工提出了更高要求,从而给晶体阵列像素的加工造成困难。其阵列像素表面的切割、研磨、抛光等加工质量将直接影响后续晶体阵列组装,甚至影响到探测器件的质量和使用寿命。该文结合Ce∶LSO闪烁晶体的基本性质,对晶体的切割、研磨、抛光及阵列组装技术进行大量的实验和改进,通过控制合适的工艺参数,采用特殊的加工方法成功加工出高质量的Ce∶LSO闪烁晶体阵列。The scintillator and scintillation probe have widely used in industries, medicals and some areas of nu- clear physics experiment, geology prospecting, safety inspection, material flaw detection and so on. The Ce:LSO is a kind of scintillation crystal with high density and atomic number. Since it has unique advantages of rapid re- sponse time for X rays, high luminescence yield, specified energy resolving power, uneasy deliquesce and inferior neutron sensitivity, it is considered to be the scintillator with best comprehensive properties so far. With the devel- opment of the flashing X rays photograph, a higher demands on the small pixel, large area of Ce:LSO scintillation crystal array finishing technology has been brought up. So it has produced more difficult on finishing the crystal ar- ray pixel. The quality of the cutting, grinding, polishing on the surface of crystal array pixel was about to directly influence the following crystal array fabricating, even influence the quality and life time of the detection apparatus. By combining with the basic characteristic of Ce: LSO scintillation crystal, a lot of experiment work on the cutting, grinding, polishing and array finishing technology have been carried out in this work. Through controlling appropri- ate technological parameters and using a special processing method, the Ce : LSO scintilla crystal array with high quality has been finished successfully.
