摘　　要：评论界一向认为伍尔夫的第二部长篇小说《夜与日》传统写作特征明显,但它已然蕴含了伍尔夫后期实验性创作的一些特征。她在小说中对时空的掌控以其特有的方式体现了对现代人精神危机的关注,对现代社会的生存之思。本文探究小说中人物在家宅、窗、街道等三类物质空间中对自我的感知,以及他们通过与空间相对应的幻想、凝视、漫步这三种动作而获得的对身份与生存的再认识,从而探讨伍尔夫如何在这部小说中表现出社会变迁给人们带来的自我心理和精神上的变化。Commentators usually consider Night and Day, the second full length novel written by Woolf, as with obvious traditional style. But actually, it has already bred some features of her later experimental crea- tion. Her control of time and space in this novel gives attention to the spiritual crisis of modern people, and re- flects the existence in modern society with her special way. This paper explores the self - perception in three kind of spaces, such as the home, the windows, the streets, etc. , by the figures in this novel, and their rec- ognition of identity and existence through three relevant actions such as illusion, gazing, strolling, in order to discuss how Woolf express people＇s psychological and mental changes caused by social transition in this no- vel.
