论高校图书馆统一中外文编目格式的可行性

摘　　要：针对高校图书馆外文编目存在MARC格式不统一、中外文图书界定混乱、书目数据存储方式及检索方式不统一的现状,提出不能以文献的文种决定MARC格式,也不能以MARC格式决定文献的文种,所有文献应统一使用CNMARC格式著录,书目数据统一存储、统一检索。用CNMARC统一中外文编目是可行的,在图书馆自动化管理中能提高工作效率、方便读者借阅、提高编目质量。As to the disunity of MARC format in cataloging Chinese and foreign books in libraries of college, the definition of confusion of Chinese and foreign books, and the disunity of storage mode and retrieval format, it is proposed that MARC format can not be determined by the type of language of the literature, nor can it be decided by MARC format. All the literature should use unified CNMARC format, with unified storage of data and retrieval. Unified cataloging of Chinese and foreign books by using CNMARC is feasible, and can improve work efficiency and cataloging aualitw and it is convenient for reader to read.
