摘　　要：视频监控的主要目的就是发现异常情况并及时处理,运动检测是一种最常见的异常情况,检测结果的准确性直接影响监控的性能.使用一种改进的背景减除法进行运动目标检测,结合H.264技术,在嵌入式视频监控系统中进行了算法实现.The nmin purpose of video surveillance system is to find the abnormal situation and make timely treatment. Moving objects detection is one of the most common abnormalities, the accuracy of detection results influence the performance of video surveil- lance system. In order to find moving objects, an improved algorithm based on background subtraction is used. Then an instance of embedded video surveillance system based on the algorithm is given.
