摘　　要：海峡两岸不同文字面貌的形成始自20世纪50年代末,从此"繁简之争"一直是学界和民众争论的热点。随着政治环境的宽松和两岸交往的日益密切,两岸文字问题的研究由隔绝对立到交流互动,由偏执到宽容,都认识到"废繁从简"和"废简从繁"的片面性,对"识繁写简"的认识也在不断深化。海峡两岸现行汉字主要存在三方面的差异:繁体简体、异体字和微观字形,目前大陆学界对两岸的繁简字和微观字形的对比研究给予了广泛关注,但关于两岸异体字的对比研究很是薄弱。要想实现两岸"书同文",首先需要对两岸文字问题进行系统细致的调查研究和统筹安排。The formation of different word appearance between the two sides began in as early as 1950s. Ever since then the ＂character battle＂ has been a hot issue of debate in the academia and the public. With the liberal political environment and the Cross-Strait exchanges the situation in the study on the Chinese words has changed from that of isolation and opposition to exchange and interaction and from that of paranoid to tolerance. Both sides are all well aware of the fact that it is a one-sided view if we use simplified Chinese characters in replace of their original complex forms or vice versa. And at the same time, the understanding of ＂knowing complex form of characters but write simplified ones＂ is also constantly deepening. So far,there ex- ist three main differences in the current Chinese characters：complex-and-simplified characters, variant characters and micro- scopic fonts. At present, great attention has been paid by the mainland academic circles to the contrastive study of the tradition- al and simplified Chinese characters and microcosmic fonts, but few efforts have been made in the contrastive study of variant characters. Therefore ,the paper holds that both sides of the Straits should make a systematic and careful investigation as well as overall arrangement in an effort to achieve the standardized Chinese characters.
