摘　　要：利用SketchUp软件三维建模的功能和Google Earth提供的免费数据和免费平台,研究构建虚拟校园的方法、具体技术流程等,重点从三维地形模型的建立、校园内空间实体的三维建模和空间实体在虚拟场景中的集成三个方面阐述具体实现方法。以北京建筑工程学院为例的实验结果证明该方法脱离专业束缚,成本低、效果好,具有广阔的应用前景。Based on 3D modeling function of SketchUp and free data and platform provided by Google Earth, technological routes and detailed solving methods of constructing virtual school were researched. Three aspects were emphasized to explain, including reconstruction of 3D terrain model, 3D modeling of objects in school and method of integrating spatial objects into virtual scene. Beijing institute of civil engineering and architecture was taken as an example. Experimental results show that the proposed method is cost-effective, and has no professional limitation and broad prospects.
