摘 要:为了研究双微通道板(MCP)对紫外像增强器辐射增益的影响,本文利用南京理工大学制造的宽光谱像管增益测试仪,对单MCP和双MCP紫外像增强器的辐射增益分别进行了测试分析。通过改变阴极电压、MCP输出端电压这两个参数,研究了紫外像增强器辐射增益的变化情况。结果表明,相同工作状态下,双MCP的辐射增益是单MCP的100倍,这一现象与日本Hamamatsu公司报道的数据十分吻合。单MCP紫外像增强器,阴极饱和电压在300V附近,而双MCP紫外像增强器,阴极电压在300V附近未见饱和现象出现。单MCP和双MCP紫外像增强器中MCP的工作电压分别为800和1100V。此研究有助于探讨双MCP紫外像增强器的合适工作参数,对提高紫外辐射探测成像技术具有十分重要的意义。The single and double micro-channel plates (MCP) ultraviolet (UV) image intensifiers were character- ized with a lab-built tester of wide spectrum image intensifier, respectively, to understand the possible impact of the MCP UV image intensifier on the radiation gain. The experimental results show that the radiation gain of the double MCP is 100 times of that of the single MCP under the same working conditions. The results agree well with those reported by Japanese researchers. Unlike the single MCP, whose photocathode voltage saturates at about 300 V, the double MCP shows no such saturation at a voltage higher than 300 V. The operating voltages of the single and double MCPs were found to be 800 and 1100 V, respectively. We suggest that the preliminary results be of much technological interest in improvement of UV de- tection imaging device.
