摘　　要：对环境岩土工程的定义、研究内容及发展现状做了简要介绍,通过对南京市地理位置、地质条件、气候特点、社会发展现状的分析,提出了面临的城市污水污泥、城市废弃物处置、城市软基与地面变形等环境岩土工程问题,并探讨了运用岩土工程技术进行解决的可行方法。The definition,contents and development of environmental geotechnology are described in this paper. By a brief analysis of the geographical position, geological condition, climatic character and developing situa- tion of Nanjing city, three environmental geotechnology problems, such as abandoned soil of cities, disposal of solid wastes, soft soil and ground deformation are put forward. In addition, the feasible solutions of geotechni- cal engineering for those problems are also discussed.
