摘　　要：20世纪之交的北美文化帝国主义肆意弥漫,仇华和妖魔化华人达到令人发指的程度,具有一半华人血统的水仙花用英语创作了大量作品,以其如椽之笔书写华人族性,掷地有声地反抗以白人为中心的种族主义"时代噪音",还华人以公正。本文详细分析了其短篇小说《潘特和潘恩》,探讨她弘扬华人人性、解构种族中心主义霸权话语的叙事手法。As a pioneer Chinese American writer at the turn of the century, Sui Sin Far challenged the demonized images of Chinese people in＂ Yellow Peril＇literature glutted with Sino-phobia. This essay analyzes her narrative skills of reversal in Pat and Pan so as to delineate virtues of the Chinese to defy the ＂noise of the age＂ which denied the Chinese people＇ s human virtues to an abominable extent as the result of horrendous white racism.
