摘　　要：本文旨在拓展移民族群在国际投资领域的研究,深入探讨了海外华人网络对于中国吸引外资的作用和机制。利用引力模型和知识—资本模型,基于1993年—2008年93个国家的面板数据,实证研究了海外华人网络对我国引入外资的作用。结果显示,海外华人网络对我国的外商直接投资有显著的促进作用,且这种影响对短期年度流量比长期累积存量的更为明显。分阶段动态趋势深入研究表明,海外华人网络促进引资的作用总体上呈逐渐减弱的趋势,但在亚洲金融危机之后也有短暂回升。另外,在我国投资水平较高的国家当地华人网络发挥的边际影响要相对低于在我国投资水平较低的国家。最后本文对海外华商在新时期对引入外资的作用提出若干实践启示和后续研究建议。This paper expands the research of ethnic networks in international investments by examining the specific role of oversea ethnic Chinese networks on the absorption foreign direct investment in China. Empirical study is conducted by utilizing the gravity model and knowledge-capital model with a panel data of 93 sample countries though 1993-2008.The results illustrate that the oversea ethnic Chinese networks can remarkably promote China＇s foreign direct investments （FDI）, and this influence is more obvious regarding to short run FDI flows than long run FDI stocks. Dynamic investigation fitrther demonstrates that the positive effect of oversea ethnic Chinese networks on China＇s FDI gradually weakened over- time, although there was a periodical resurgence post Asian financial crisis. Cross-sectional analysis also found that the marginal effect of abstracting FDI diminished as the investment scale of countries where the oversea ethnic Chinese located. The paper wraps up with some practical suggestions for the updated role of oversea ethnic Chinese networks on China＇s FDI in future and academic implications for subsequent research in relevant field.
