周作人《亦报》评点《十八春》

摘　　要：周作人在给《亦报》撰稿期间,曾有两篇文章直接评点张爱玲的长篇连载小说《十八春》。性喜古典散文,不常读新小说的苦雨斋主,评说《十八春》的反常之举,缘于张爱玲热辣辣地呈奉"美意"在先。故说,周作人评点《十八春》,不是"偶遇"张爱玲的率性而为,其实在是有准备的"回应"。在周作人眼里,《十八春》乏善可陈,败在没有写好关键人物顾曼桢。In writing to ＂Yi Daily＂, Zhou Zuoren had ever twice commented Ms. Zhang Ailinffs serial no- vel ＂Eighteen Spring＂. As liking classical prose rather than reading new novel, the reason behind Zhou ＂s comment was based on ZhangCs previous presentation of ＂good intentions＂. It is said that the comment on ＂Eighteen Spring＂ was the prepared response instead of Zhang＇s personality. In the eyes of Zhou Zuoren, ＂Eighteen Spring＂ was lack of adequate achievement mainly because the key figure called as Gu Manzhen.
