摘　　要：通过对中原城市群内23个城市的潜力值求解和聚类分析,基于引力理论和潜力模型,提出一种新的城市等级界定与划分方法,对中原城市群重新进行等级界定与划分,建构了新的城市等级体系,以使人们能够重新认识中原城市群的内部布局结构、规模等级层次,明确各城市的地位与战略布局,为城市区域整体规划、城市体系规划和城市的功能定位提供科学的依据。Through solutions of potential value and cluster analysis to 23 urban in Middle Plain's Urban Cluster, this article bases on gravitation theory and potential model and proposes a new urban classification definition and division method, which redefinites and redivides the rank of Middle Plain's Urban Cluster and obtains the new urban classification system of urban cluster, to get a new understanding of the internal structure level of Middle Plain's Urban Cluster, explicit the status of every urban, and provide the science basis for the region corporate planning or the urban system plan.
