摘　　要：以SCI收录的世界范围内特定专题文献及其引文为分析对象,采用信息可视化及文献计量学方法对其进行统计分析,得出专题研究的国际研发现状与文献利用规律,分析其对科研和文献资源建设的参考价值与意义,为开展相同专题研究的机构提供参考,文中以PTC专题研究为例开展了相关实证研究,结果显示PTC专题主要由材料科学、物理学、工程学、聚合物科学相交叉融合而成;引文以期刊类型为主,占88.74%;期刊的半衰期为8年,图书半衰期为12年;核心期刊与高被引期刊并不完全重合;82%的引文来自于Ebsco、Springer、Wiley和IEEE数据库。Implications for Construction of Scientific research and Collection development decisions were focused on by the bibliometric and visual analysis of subject research literatures included in SCI worldwide. An empirical study of the subject re- search on positive temperature coefficient（PTC） is conducted. The study results indicated that papers on PTC research main- ly involve in materials, physics, engineering, polymer, etc; 88.74% references were to journal articles and 82% of the total were included in Ebsco, Springer, Wiley and IEEE; The half-life of journal is 8 years and the book is 12 years; Core journal and high cited journal do not coincide completely.
