摘　　要：与当代许多自由主义者仍坚持一种普遍主义路线为自由主义提供正当性论证不同,罗蒂试图用重新描述的方法来为自由主义提供一种非普遍主义的辩护。在这种非普遍主义转向中,他首先对西方近代以来逐渐出现和发展起来的自由民主社会进行了一种历史主义的重新描述,以消解以往自由主义理论强加给它的普遍主义根基,然后又倡导了一种反讽主义文化,以让他的非普遍主义的自由主义立场成为可能。罗蒂的立场虽然也遭到了不少质疑和批评,但他的努力让我们对当代自由主义理论的困境和局限有了更加清楚的认识,也提醒着我们应该从更宽的视野来反思政治哲学的作用及方式问题。The majority of liberalist still insist on universal thinking method in contemporary. Differs from the argu- ments, Rorty attempts to provide a non-universalism defend for liberalism with redescription. He thinks that useing the univer- sal ways of argument to solve contemporary liberalism＇s crisis is useless and not necessary, because such efforts are just repeat- ing the failures of enlightenment philosophy. On the contrary, Rorty redeseribe the practice history of the liberal society in the westen world from standpoint of historicism that disintegrates the foundation of liberal universalism. Moreover, Rorty also ad- vocate a new cultural form of liberalism which make his non-universalism possible. Rorty＇s opinion can make us More clear to recognize the dilemma and problems of liberalism despite there are many troubles in his non-universalism standpoint.
