摘　　要：20世纪60年代开始,敦煌文物研究所(敦煌研究院前身)的学术研究氛围日益浓厚,学术研究成果不断涌现。在这种情况下,出版专门的学术成果刊物成为迫切的需求。1982年敦煌文物研究所第一本文集《敦煌研究文集》出版,随后开始筹备《敦煌研究》期刊出版事宜,经过多方努力,《敦煌研究》创刊。Since the 1960s, increasing attention has been paid to academic studies at the Research Institute of Dunhuang Cultural Relics （today＇s Dunhuang Academy）. An urgent need for a periodical to publish scholarly papers about achievements at Dunhuang led to a series of publications. In 1982 the first book of papers of the Research Institute of Dunhuang Cultural Relics, a Collection of Papers on Dunhuang Studies, was published. Thereafter, continued effort led to the periodical Dunhuang Research.
