摘　　要：引才、育才与合作科研相 陈化北：中山大学近年来在高端人才引进上有几个方面做得比较突出，如：学科创新引智基地（即“111计划”）、诺奖大师对话与科研合作、海外博士引进、合作办学等方面令人印象深刻。请介绍一下中大高层次人才引进对学校发展、人才培养与团队建设所起的作用。Sun Yat-sen Universitydevised a strategy of international development in 2004. In the Sino-French Institute of Nuclear Engineering and Technology, lively interaction between teacher and students is highly regarded. SYSU-CMU Joint Institute of Engineering is under construction and recruiting faculty from around the world. The university, however, faces an ongoing problem: Foreign professors are much more likely to fail students who do not perform to an adequate level. Chinese students and parents, on the other hand, reject this notion of failure.
