摘 要:采用氯化钙和碳酸钾为合成原料,自制沉淀碳酸钙(PCC),并将其部分或全部取代二氧化硅(SiO2)制备涂料,对纸张进行涂布,系统地研究了碳酸钙与二氧化硅的不同比例对纸张物理性能和喷墨打印性能的影响。在PCC∶SiO2比例为0∶1、1∶3、1∶1、3∶1、1∶0的条件下,测定涂布纸的涂布量、涂料黏度、不透明度和白度及其喷墨打印性能。研究得出,随着碳酸钙比例的增加,涂料固含量、涂布量逐渐增加,黏度先升高后降低、不透明度先降低后升高,白度略有降低;实地密度有所提高;色密度均匀度增加;网点扩大与原纸相比明显降低。PCC能有效克服二氧化硅所制涂料固含量低、流动性差的缺点,并在碳酸钙与二氧化硅比例为1∶1左右时,获得较好的纸张物理性能和喷墨打印性能。Precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) prepared by the calcium chloride and potassium carbonate was used as pigment instead of silica (SiO2) partially or entirely to formulate the compound coating. The effects of dif ferent proportion of the calcium carbonate and silica on the physical properties and the inkjet printing performance of paper were investigated. Under the different coating formulation at PCC and SiO2 ratio of 0: 1, 1: 3, 1: 1, 3:1 and 1: 0, the coating weight, viscosity, opacity, brightness and the inkjet printing performances were measured. The study indicated that with the increase of PCC proportion, the solid content and coating weight increased gradu ally, the viscosity of coating increased at first and then decreased, opacity of paper decreased at first and then in creased, the brightness reduced slightly; color solid density improved slightly, the color evenness increased and the dot gain significantly reduced as compared with the base paper. PCC could effectively overcome the low solids con tent and poor fluidness of the silica coating system, when the proportion of PCC and SiO2 was about 1 : 1, good pa per physical properties and inkjet printing performance were obtained.
