摘　　要：劳伦斯的作品致力于揭露现代工业文明对人性的压抑和扭曲。作为社会机制的一部分,教育在经历巨大变革的同时也影响着人们的态度和价值观。通过劳伦斯的两部小说《儿子与情人》和《彩虹》,揭示劳伦斯对英国工业革命时期教育的批判。In his works, Lawrence aims at exposing the suppression and distortion that modem industrialized society forces upon human natures. Education, as part of social institution, not only underwent great changes, but also affect- ed people＇ s attitudes and values at that time. This paper will focus on two of Lawrence＇ s novels, i. e. , Sons and Lovers and The Rainbow to reveal his response to the industrialized education.
