摘　　要：从关联理论的角度研究国防白皮书英译的基本策略和方法,翻译对外宣传材料的信息传播具有不可忽视的影响,应当做到行文简洁、准确、明快、流畅,让读者花费最小的努力获取最大量的信息,实现翻译的最佳关联度原则。From the perspective of the relevance theory, this paper studies the basic translation methods of China＇s Defense White Paper. It beholds that translation plays an important role in the information communication, so the English translation of China＇s Defense White Paper should be concise, accurate and fluent, which enables readers to get maximized information and realizes the best relevant effect.
