摘　　要：中国市场经济的迅猛发展,给中国的竞技体育和大众体育带来了许多变化。其中竞技体育呈现出国际化、娱乐化、产业化的现状和趋势,而大众体育中场所和设施的民间化、民众参与体育的多样化都显得非常突出。竞技体育和大众体育的这些现状和趋势,与中国构建和谐社会的目标存在着有机的联系。按照这样的趋势发展,中国体育必将在构建和谐社会的过程中发挥积极地作用。The rapid development of China＇s market economy brings many changes to the competitive sports and mass sports. Competitive sports take on international, entertaining and industrial situation and tendency; whereas the popularity in the venues and facilities of mass sports, mass participation and variety of sports are conspicuous. The situation and tendency of competitive sports and mass sports exists in the inherent relationship with the goal of constructing a harmonious society. According to the development tendency, China＇s sports will surely play an active role in the process of constructing a harmonious society.
