摘  要:粉煤灰联产新型硅酸钙填料是以高铝粉煤灰为主要原料,制得的轻质、多孔蜂窝状的新型矿物造纸填料。本文主要对这种粉煤灰联产新型硅酸钙填料(FACS)在CPAM单元助留体系下加填纸料的湿部化学特性和成纸特性进行了初步研究。实验数据表明:FACS的Zeta电位较低,阳离子需求量较高。当浆料体系Zeta电位接近于零时,GCC加填浆料的CPAM需求量约0.04%,FACS加填浆料的CPAM需求量约0.08%;在相同的工艺条件下,FACS加填浆料的滤水性能不如GCC加填的浆料,而纸料首程留着率和填料留着率明显高于GCC对比样;当CPAM的用量低于0.04%时,FACS加填浆料的滤水性能得到了改善,但对GCC加填浆料的助滤效果更明显。FACS成纸性能研究发现,FACS加填纸不透明度优于GCC加填纸,抗张指数比GCC加填纸低19.11%,撕裂指数比GCC加填纸高26.32%,灰分值比GCC高2.1%,松厚度比GCC加填纸高33.3%,同时硅酸钙颗粒能够较好地填充在纤维之间的缝隙中,与纤维的交织作用效果好。The novel fly ash based on calcium silicate as new kind of mineral papermaking filler (FACS) reveals a honeycomb pattern and low density. In this paper were preliminarily investigated the wet end chemistry characteristics and paper properties of FACS under the condition of a single retention system of CPAM+ Results show that compared with those from ground calcium carbonate (GCC) filled furnish, Zeta potential of FACS is very low and the cationic demand is comparatively high. When Zeta potential of the furnish approaches to zero, the CPAM demand of GCC filled furnish is 0.04%, while the cationic demand of FACS filled furnish is 0.08%; under the same process, the drainage of FACS filled furnish is worse than GCC-filled furnish, but the first pass retention and filler retention rate are superior to GCC filled furnish; the drainage of FACS filled furnish is improved to some extent with CPAM dosage less than 0.04%, but the retention of GCC filled furnish is improved more obviously. It was found by investigation that FACS filled paper has higher opacity, and lower tensile index, reduced by 19.11%, higher tear index, increased by 26.32%, higher bulkiness, increased by 33.3%, and more ash content, increased by 2.1% than GCC filled paper. Furthermore, FACS can be well filled in the gap between fibers and interweaved with fibers effectively.
