摘　　要：图书馆核心业务成为业界人士讨论的热点,"资源观"、"制度观"、"服务观"等不断地涌现,文章从图书馆核心业务属性入手,分析出知识服务成为图书馆竞争新的制高点,阐述了知识服务的内涵与外延,并从知识服务的本质、基础、核心与环境四个方面为图书馆知识服务的发展提出一定的建议。The core business of library has become a hot topic in the field, and some views such as resource- based, system-oriented, and service-centered appear. Starting from the core attributes of the libraries, the article argues that the knowledge service has become the commanking elevation point in the competition of the libraries, elaborates the connotation and extension of the knowledge service, and gives some suggestions for the development of the service by analysis of nature, base, core and environment of it.
