Problems occurred in field test concerning high voltage parallel capacitor is mainly introduced, solutions and points for attention are put forward. All these are to facilitate control of high voltage parallel capacitor test characteristics, improve the testing accuracy and avoid hidden dangers of the capacitor again put into operation, improve the availability of high voltage parallel capacitor, play a better role of high voltage parallel capacitor in the power grid.
