摘　　要：N (4 Dimethylamino biphenyl)maleimide was synthesized from the reaction of maleic anhydride with 4 dimethylamino biphenyl amine via two steps processes.Its chemical structure was identified by means of elemental analysis,mass spectra and 1H NMR.Its homopolymer and copolymer with methyl methacrylate were also synthesized by radical polymerization using AIBN as initiator.N (4 Dimethylamino biphenyl)maleimide was synthesized from the reaction of maleic anhydride with 4 dimethylamino biphenyl amine via two steps processes.Its chemical structure was identified by means of elemental analysis,mass spectra and 1H NMR.Its homopolymer and copolymer with methyl methacrylate were also synthesized by radical polymerization using AIBN as initiator.
