摘　　要：唐圭璋先生乃20世纪词学宗师,以一人之力编纂的《全宋词》《全金元词》《词话丛编》等文献嘉惠词林,功徳无量。先生不独词学湛深,且词心醇厚,词才清拔,词学、词才、词心三者集于一身,他的《梦桐词》小令长调兼擅,尤以小令见胜,在民国词坛占有一席之地。《梦桐词》中的《南云小稿》写于抗战时期,集中抒发了悼亡之情与乡关之思,个体的痛苦扎根于时代的痛苦之上,蕴含着民胞物与之怀,堪称血泪凝成的性灵文字,不少作品达到了重拙大的境界。先生抗战前的作品大抵为词社雅集之作,多写长调涩体,严守四声,尚未摆脱拟古习气。解放之后的词作多为歌颂承平的应景之作。Tang Guizhang,a renowned Ci poetry master in the 20th century,made great contribution to Ci poetry by compiling such great works as A Complete Collection of Ci Poems of the Song Dynasty ,A Com- plete Collection of Ci Poems of the Song and Yuan Dynasties,and Notes and Comments on Ci Poetry all by himself. He was not only erudite in Ci poetry study, but also had profound passion and refined talent for Ci poetry creation. His excellent employment of Xiaoling and Changdiao in his Mengtong Ci ,especially Xiaoling,has its place in Ci poetry in the Republic of China. Nanyunxiaogao, a collection of Ci poetry, written during the Anti-Japanese War Period and included in his Mengtong Ci, is devoted to mourning and nostalgia. The collection reveals individual sufferings based on those of the times and abounds in benevo- lence and universal love. With many words of natural disposition and intelligence,quite a few pieces of the collection have reached the status of ＂heavy,clumsy and massive＂. Before the Anti-Japanese War, most of Mr. Tang＇s works were created for Ci poets gatherings,characterized by changdiao, obscure style, rigid sticking to four tones and archaism. While after the founding of the People＇s Republic of China most of his works were created for the occasion.
